Welcome to Only Chess Academy

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Only Chess Academy's services.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Only Chess Academy's services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Services Description

Only Chess Academy provides the following services:

  • Online chess coaching for students aged 4-18 years
  • Individual and group chess lessons
  • Chess tournaments and competitions
  • Educational chess materials and resources
  • Progress tracking and performance analysis
  • Parent communication and feedback sessions

Student Enrollment

To enroll in our programs, students must:

  • Be between the ages of 4 and 18 years
  • Have parental consent (for students under 18)
  • Provide accurate personal information
  • Complete the enrollment process and payment
  • Agree to follow our code of conduct

Payment Terms

  • All fees must be paid in advance before classes begin
  • Payment methods accepted: Credit/Debit cards, Bank transfers, UPI
  • Refunds are available within 7 days of enrollment (subject to conditions)
  • Late payment may result in suspension of services
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice

Class Policies

Attendance:

  • Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes
  • Absences should be reported at least 24 hours in advance
  • Make-up classes may be available for excused absences

Behavior:

  • Respectful behavior towards instructors and fellow students
  • No disruptive behavior during classes
  • Follow online etiquette guidelines

Technology:

  • Stable internet connection required for online classes
  • Camera and microphone should be functional
  • Quiet learning environment recommended

Cancellation Policy

Student Cancellation:

  • 7-day notice required for program cancellation
  • Partial refund available based on classes attended
  • No refund for classes already completed

Academy Cancellation:

  • We reserve the right to cancel classes due to technical issues
  • Make-up classes will be scheduled for cancelled sessions
  • Full refund available if we cannot provide alternative arrangements

Intellectual Property

  • All course materials, content, and teaching methods are proprietary to Only Chess Academy
  • Students may not record, distribute, or reproduce class content without permission
  • Personal use of materials is permitted for enrolled students only
  • Unauthorized use of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited

Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information. Our collection, use, and protection of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference.

By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

Only Chess Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of our services.

Our total liability to you for any damages shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the services in the 12 months preceding the claim.
